When I'm in my beautiful native land surrounded by family and friends.
The rumors are true:) I was in the US for most of the month of October. Officially it was my job that broguht me there for training but unofficially, it was such a gift from God!!!
Hands down top 3 highlights:
 |
She wasn't happy with dinner
but dear grandma nonetheless. |
- Hanging out with my 92 year-old grandma
- Making the bomb-diggity sweet potato pie that won top accolades from my family. My uncle even said it was better than my grandma's?! No pics, too busy eating.
- Driving a Zipcar Mercedes and Audi in the same week. No pics. Too busy driving:)
Every day, just about every moment was a highlight. I got to celebrate two friends, Arianne and Annalee getting jobs after a few months of unemployment. I was even there their first week on the job.
Dwayne made a special trip down to DC to see me my last week. Such a gift I deeply appreciate. Special shout-out to my sweet girls Pauline and Katles for making special efforts to see me innumerable times and sharing their families and lives with me during my stay. Your friendship is a treasure and an indescribable blessing.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures for good times in Charlotte, NC with my family and DC with friends.
