Maman Brown's in Benin!!: Week 1

Last week Wednesday was the highlight of my year!!  My first American visitor and very own mama arrived happy and safely in beautiful Benin!!

It's almost surreal having her here and sharing my new home and life with her.

1st stop, Jouvenance Spa for a much needed mani/pedi to help her transition from cold US winter to tropical Benin.  Now, let's just say it had been few moons since she's had a mani/pedi so it was a bit uncomfortable at times.

But it was all good and pretty in the recovery/relaxation room.

 Next stop: The dentist office?!

It was actually my appointment but mom decided "Hey, why not?" and hopped in the dentist chair for a spontaneous appointment with Dr. Loko.

Next stop: Fabric Shopping!

My dear colleague Jackie offered to accompany us fabric shoppiing in the HUGE Dantokpa Market.

2nd week: Dinner at the beach, Visit to the Seamstress, Trip to Ouidah (I hope!:)
