Francine, mom, our talkative guide and I took a day trip to Casa del Papa, a resort about 1 hour from Cotonou in the city of Ouidah. It was a delightful day. Highlights includes mom's 1st coconut water, buying a giraffe family and walking along the beach and learning about the "Porte de Non-retour" (Door of no return monument to the slave departure from Benin.
